Neah Bay Halibut

Having missed the Westport halibut season and having absolutely no halibut in the freezer, I decided to go to Neah for the last 2 days of open halibut. I invited, Tom, Marc, Tim, and Matt for the trip. We opted to sleep in the boat or in the truck to cut down on our costs.

Aaron provided me with some intel of halibut fishing inside the straits. I opted to fish the close-in area instead of running outside. It paid off. We got our limits for both days of halibut. We also got some lings fishing around Makah bay.

Next year, I will not fish for rockfish and just focus on Lings and Halibut.
