Sekiu Squid!

Sekiu was slow. There's a good bite early at first light. But by 9 a.m. the go deeper or have moved out. On our last morning, we were doing well on clipped cohos and then we hooked something on the downrigger that we all thought was kelp. The kelp was moving! Turns out to be a Humbolt squid! We got 2 of these giants. Now much fight, but was exciting to see.
