Shrimping

Saturday, May 12, 2007. We got a chance to get out to the Hood Canal with our friend Matt, Clint, and Tori for a little shrimping. The shrimp season on the canal is only open for two days. This was the second Saturday of the season.

We didn't get our limits. We only got 2 and a half limits. We hauled 3 blank pots. I've never seen that before. The shrimp population seems down this year. Not sure if the area is fished out or it has something to do with the low dissolved oxygen happening on the canal.
