2010 Duck Opener

Epic day on the opener. After scouting, Clint and I decided to hunt the Willapa. We also decided we would get there as early as possible. We set the time to leave the beach house by 1 a.m. We basically stayed up till it was time to go and off we went with our Marsh Rats, 4 dozen GHG decoys, Jafet and 2 shotguns each.

Our gamble paid off and we were rewarded with a shootout that we won't soon forget. We limited out by 10 a.m. and still had ducks pouring in while we were packing up. The change of tide was key and we hunted the flood tide.
