Jafet's First Duck Hunt

Youth hunt 2010. Jafet finally got to shoot at live ducks. Clint and I guided him to a spot down south. We saw a ton of ducks. Had some drama in the morning with the kid scared to shoot in fear of getting hurt. We coached him on the techniques and had him take a shot at some ducks without pressure. Once he did that and he realized that he didn't get hurt, he was OK. He managed to take down two pintail hens and a green winged teal. He had many missed opportunities, but I was proud of what he has accomplished thus far.

Sekiu 2010

Lloyd, Amy and Brandon came out for a week long visit with us. We did a few days at Sekiu. Fishing was OK. They got their first taste of salmon fishing. We only took 3 keepers out of this trip. We caught lots of fish, just not the right kind. The last morning we caught nothing but blackmouth. Where are the silvers?
