Kid's first Salmon

Brian, Patty and Jafet are now here. I was intent on taking Brian and Jafet on a salmon trip. Weather forecast sources couldn't agree on the weather. I decided at 3 a.m. where to go. We ended up at Westport.

It was lumpy and we were all feeling a little queasy. I wasn't able to put my patch on until we left the house. Fishing was still good at Westport. It didn't take us long at the GH Buoy to find some silvers. Jafet got to fight his first fish and it was a nice salmon. The pic above is the only keeper we kept before we left the building seas.

Just a quick note that WP is on fire. I jumped on Duanes boat and he, Nancy, and I hooked coho after coho. We finally got our limits of clipped fished late in the day.

Neah Bay Slaughter

Best trip by far at Neah Bay. We found the Kings and we got them good. Great weather and great friends. We had a ball and learned a lot of new things.
