Getting it together

The Portland show is done. I enjoyed working at the booth again. I went ahead and got everything I needed from Matt...well, just about everything. My tuna and halibut gear is pretty much complete.

I'm excited to use the new Aruba reels I picked up for halibut. It's so smooth. I also can't wait to try out the Cabo spin reels I got for casting swimbaits for albacore. I loaded up on swimbait jig heads while I was at the show. Englunds had them with the big eyes.

My outriggers also came but I haven't installed that yet. Waiting to find a base to support the whole rigger when I mount it on the roof.

I've been making daisy chains to try out for tuna. I'll be making spreader bars too.
