Boatless in Seattle

The boat sold. It only took 1 week from the time I released the sale ad to the actual sale. I was surprised. Now comes the part where I'm suppose to be patient before I buy the next boat. I'm looking forward to the hunt.

Before the Aye Kandi sold, I did manage to get out one last time and fish the Puget Sound. I was fishing the Southworth area near Manchester. I missed the King bite but did manage one Silver. I like this area and look forward to fish it when I get the new boat.

Of course now that I don't have a boat, they opened the sockeye fishery for the weekend of July 28th. Bummer!

Keeper Dungies a No Show

Wow. I couldn't be more dissappointed. Crabbing on the Hood Canal was a bust. We went to our favorite spot on the Great Bend and only found 1 keeper for half of the day that we were out there.

There were crab out there, we just couldn't find the keeper sizes. Most of the reports we heard from everyone else were the same. I guess the test fishery about a month ago was right. They couldn't find them either.

Our dog Moose was dissapointed too. Oh well, now I get to clean up the boat and get her ready for sale.
